About me
I found my professional home in communications after working in marketing, product management and strategy at Reuters.
My first love is investor relations – the blue stocking end of the communications spectrum – where I enjoy the challenge of creating inspiring narratives amidst regulatory requirements and financial precision.
Having worked at Man Group and Janus Henderson as well as Reuters, I am lucky to have counted fund managers and journalists as friends and colleagues, and to have learnt what life is like on their side of the desk.
At HomeServe, I learnt first hand what a difference good internal communications can make – written communications, video and events.
I have wide experience of the communications “Big Five”: M&A, crisis, strategic change, management upheaval and financial surprises (positive and negative). I have worked in the UK, Continental Europe, America, Asia and Australia, and with a wonderful range of business personalities.
I am a non-executive director of employee-owned creative consultancy Emperor Works, and a member of the Council of Christ’s Hospital, a school like no other.
I am creative, pro-active and collaborative, and I produce high quality results. My superpower is that I write.
